A DHL cargo jet crashed on a highway from Italy.

The incident took place on Friday near the Bergamo Airport.

The airport was closed until further notice and all the flights were canceled.

According to the authorities, the incident happened due to the unfavorable weather. Pictures from the scene took social media by storm. The incredible photos show the ASL Airlines Boeing 737-400 literally laying all over the Italian highway.

The jet took off from the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and arrived in Italy at 04.00 a.m. So far, no victims were reported and the two pilots are in perfect condition.
