The Niantic executive John Hanke stated that the idea regarding the “Pokemon Go” contact lenses sounds really appealing.
If they only could a find to connect the lenses to the Internet, the fans could enjoy their Pokemon hunt without having to hold up their smartphones.
“I’m a science-fiction fan so I want the contact lenses that transform everything into whatever kind of themed world I want it to be. I think a lot of people see that archetype as something that we’d like to have and it’s probably going to get created within our lifetime and I’m very much looking forward to it.”, stated Hanke during a gaming conference in Los Angeles.
Apart from the contact lenses, the Nintendo executive revealed another long-term plan regarding the most popular game of the moment.
The American entrepreneur revealed that closing deals with several big names in the commercial area are one of their top priorities.
So far, “Pokemon Go” managed to gather 100 million users worldwide. The “Pokemon Go” phenomenon became the most downloaded mobile app after it was downloaded 50 million times.
The free-to-play location-based app was developed by the American software giant Niantic. The game was released in July 2016 and it has one of the quickest growing fan bases of all times.
According to Daily Mail, Nintendo is set to launch a Bluetooth wristband meant to let you play the game, while you’re phone is in the pocket.
