For Americans, Monday is the last day of the presidential election campaign before Tuesday, 8 November.

The US presidential election marathon lasted, however, 23 months, writes AFP.

On 7 June 2016 Clinton is nominated as the Democratic candidate after a close fight with Bernie Sanders, who had managed to give hope for the young American and Democratic, left. “This is the first time a woman is nominated by one of the major parties,” she said in New York.

On 6 July 2016, the FBI does not recommend an investigation into the electronic correspondence of Hillary Clinton. But the head teacher, James Comey, critiques her for extreme negligence.

Also in July 2016, Trump is vested in Cleveland  at a Republican convention quite controversial, while the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia on Clinton propelled her to the top of the polls.

August was a black month for the billionaire, who has fired the team and entered into a polemic with the Khan family, Muslim parents of a soldier killed in action.

On 11 September 2016 Hillary Clinton faints in New York. Announces through her electoral staff that she has pneumonia.

On 26 September 2016, the first debate between the two candidates had much impact. In front of 84 million viewers, Trump was pissed before a merciless Hillary Clinton. Democratic candidate wins the debate.

On October 28, however, 11 days before the election, FBI Director announces that the investigation on the electronic correspondence of Clinton is reopened.
