It seems Suicide Squad 2 is already on its way!
Even if we have just tasted the horrors of the criminals, we might be given another chance to it.
Rumor has it that filming the newest Suicide Squad movie could begin next year, but it won’t arrive on the big screens until 2020.
Actor Will Smith, who plays Deadshot in Warner Bros. DC production, will also collaborate on the second movie, where criminals and anti-heroes make the rules.
But before getting ready for Suicide Squad 2, Will Smith has his agenda fully booked: he is expected to play the thriller ‘Bright’.
Although the blockbuster didn’t have good critics reviews, Suicide Squad managed to attract fans’ attention, so it reached the first place in the top box office in North America, earning $ 135.1 million.
A secret governmental agency recruits a group of antiheroes directly from the prison to perform a series of very dangerous missions in exchange for the promise to be set free.
The movie, directed by David Ayer, had starring Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie.
The film was released in theaters on August 5th, 2016.
The worst guys in DC Comics universe joined their forces in ‘Suicide Squad’ and they are expected to do it again.
According to Batman News, Jai Courtney declared about David Ayer’s directorial preferences:
‘How do you please everyone? And I don’t think Suicide Squad ever intended to… So, no one’s setting out to upset the fan base, certainly not a fan base that can be as loyal as this kind of crowd can.
But I don’t know how you can push the envelope or try and protect something [without taking risks] … I know what I like in a movie, and it’s not the same thing as my twelve-year-old niece.
It’s a challenge, and David did an incredible job, and I sure as hell hope we get to make another one with him’.
