LL Cool J: Charity work for Christmas

It seems like rapper LL Cool J didn’t forget where he came from: ‘Nothing is more important than remembering where you came from. A lot of times, people forget that’, he said, motivating his act of kindness.

He decided to make Christmas brighter for some poor families living in his old neighborhood, more precisely, in the Greater Allen A.M.E Cathedral in the Hollis section of Queens, New York.

LL Cool J showed up at the annual Christmas giveaway at the church with toys for 675 families and their 1,700 children. He also donated food and clothes to the community:

‘I just hope my power and my influence and my ability to say a kind word can go a little further to inspire a couple of kids to do something good,’ the rapper added.
