Since it first came to HBO in 1998, ‘’Sex and the City” has made lots of fans all over the world. Even if the series ended in 2004, fans are still finding ways to pay tribute to their favorite show.

Dan Clay, a New York City resident, is one of the latest to pay homage to the character everyone loves. Everything started the past Halloween when he dressed up in that iconic Carrie Bradshaw pink tutu. He matched the dress with a blonde wig and a pair of gold heels and snapped a photo for Instagram. This instantly became a new sensation named ‘Carrie Dragshaw’.

The internet sensation admitted to wanting to dress up like her  “ever since college, when I had HBO in my frat room and girls would come over and watch Sex and the City on Sundays”.

Now, Dan Clay receives a lot of love from fans everywhere and even caught the attention of the one and only Sarah Jessica Parker. The actress even commented on one of his posts (“Words cannot convey. A triumph”).

Clay has since then recreated many of her iconic looks. Amongst them are the Hamptons beach party outfit and the Dior newspaper print dress.

Even though his looks are amazing, what makes his posts really special are the monologs that accompany the posts. They are written in the typical Carrie Bradshaw tone and describe love and life in the city that never sleeps.
