This Wednesday Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli hit what was his third consecutive double in the victory of the league leaders Chelsea. He handed Chelsea their first defeat since their October League Cup elimination.

He has now six goals in his last 3 games, with a tally of 10 total this season. Even if he is just 20 years old he is one of the main forces behind the Spurs in the current season. With all those achievements he is behind striker Harry Kane who has a combined 10 goals and two assists, one more than Alli.

Another man carrying his team to great performances this season is Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, who on average has a goal or assist in every match he played so far into the season.

Not all key players this season are household names. Joe Allen who had a lackluster last season at Liverpool is the leader of Stoke this year with five goals and two assists. Crystal Palace’s new 27 million pounds investment Christian Benteke is quite behind a home grown academy graduate in terms of attacking.
