David Beckham was the victim of hackers. His private emails were leaked. Since then, his team responded.

Apparently, the emails contain conversations between him and the team.

One of them contained a comment about Katherine Jenkins, opera singer. Beckham complained about her being honored by Queen Elizabeth before him. Another comment is about UNICEF and donating money.

According to his team, the emails were modified to show exactly what the hankers wanted.

“This story is based on outdated material taken out of context from hacked and doctored private emails from a third party server and gives a deliberately inaccurate picture,” says the statement released by the team.

They also explained the story about UNICEF. David has been a member for seven years, he has been constantly involved in donations. While he played for PSG, all the money he earned went to the foundation. The two parts will continue to have a close relation.

Since the news broke, UNICEF also responded. The organization released a statement. They start by saying they they can’t comment on some emails they have never seen. Then, they proceed to show thankfulness for David.

The 41-year-old has been an ambassador who has been giving his “time, energy and support”. UNICEF also praised the numerous foundations he got involved in. His contribution has been amazing and provided a lot of help.

They conclude by saying they are thankful for everything that he did and continues to do. His program, 7 Fund, managed to raise a lot of money since it was released in 2015.
