On Thursday, Nordstrom decided to drop the first daughter’s line. The company released a statement about the decision.

“We’ve said all along we make buying decisions based on performance. In this case, we decided not to buy it for this season,” said Nordstrom.

The decision comes after the line, which is also pretty pricey, didn’t got purchased.

The clothing items are already out of the store. The website doesn’t feature the items as well.

The staff from Ivanka’s line responded to Nordstrom’s decision.

As Nordstrom claims the sales were not satisfying, the fashion label says that it continues to spread globally and its success is increasing.

The team also revealed that it is proud by its integrity and the fact that they managed to create a brand that brings empowerment to women.

“It is a company built to inspire women with solution-oriented offerings, created to celebrate and service the many aspects of their lives,” said the statement released by the brand.

It appears that the store ordered a time ago a part of the spring collection: shoes and apparel, they were canceled after all.

This decision might be part of a campaign started last month, entitled #GrabYourWallet. The campaign is supposed to boycott the retailers that are selling the first daughter’s merchandise or anything related to the Trump family.

Last month, Ivanka decided to step away from the brand, as she moved to Washington and started a busier life.

This might not be the first retailer to take such a decision about the brand. The hate towards Trump could affect his daughter.
