Poland’s winner, Arka Gdynia has a new president
20-year-old Dominik Midak acquired 60% of the club’s shares.
The major shareholder’s newly acquired team will attend the European League this season after, in the last three months, confronted with numerous changes.
According to the Polish press, Dominik is the son of Vladimir Midak, a notorious entrepreneur from Europe, with a lot of connections in the recycling and waste management industry.
However, his son is also managing his own stuff despite the fact that he is only 20-years-old.
One of Poland’s most appreciated and supported football teams will attend the Europa League for the first time in the club’s history.
2017 was a very frugal year for Arka, who also brought home the Polish Cup, after scoring a massive victory against Lech Poznan.
Dominik is Arka’s number one fan and even though he didn’t obtain remarkable performances, he also had a beautiful love affair with football at Ozarowiance.
His young age and looks turned the promising entrepreneur into a real social media sensation after most users named him the Polish version of Justin Bieber.
Arka Gdynia finished the 2016/17 season 13th in the Ekstraklasa, but gained entry to the Europa League third qualifying round by winning the Polish Cup.
